DVD Spirit Winds School of Thai Massage This video shows personal interviews in Thailand with three masters of Thai massage. It features Achaan Sintorn from the Old Medicine Hospital, Chongkol Setthakorn from the Institute of Thai Massage (ITM) and Lek Chaiya from Nerve Touch Massage. They give information about the history of Thai massage, details of the energy lines and therapeutic applications for severe cases. In this instructional video Janice Vitavec demonstrates an example of a 11/2 hour northern style massage in the beautiful setting of the Yuba river in Northern California. It is performed without interruption of a flowing session showing the spirit of Thai Massage that comes from working in a focused and meditative state. Beside each photo step by step instructions are written in short form, making them easy to follow while practicing. The manuals also include outlined examples of 1 1/2 hour sessions for general relaxation, and sessions for shoulders, neck and back pain.
